Why Signing the AMCF Charter Strengthens Your Club

The AMCF Club Charter is a plain‑English agreement that turns the small print of our national insurance policy and governance rules into a clear, practical checklist for each affiliated club. By signing it, a club confirms that it will do the few critical things—like booking a registered paramedic for public tournaments, submitting member lists on time and using certified marshals—that keep everyone legally protected and the sport running smoothly. In return, the club’s events remain fully covered under the $20 million group liability policy, its members stay eligible for Nationals and international selections, and the committee gains priority access to AMCF resources such as risk‑management templates, free marshal training and national marketing campaigns. Put simply, the Charter locks in peace of mind: it shows venue owners, councils and sponsors that your club meets a national professional standard, while giving your fighters the confidence that every bout is as safe and well‑run as the sport can be.
